IT/OT Transformation Programme Manager Project Manager.
Superb London based client have a long-term, hybrid Onsite/Remote Inside IR35 role for an experienced IT/OT Transformation Programme Manager Project Manager to lead large-scale IT/OT, industrial automation and digital manufacturing transformation initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end programme delivery across multiple manufacturing sites, working closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, OT, IT, Cybersecurity and senior business stakeholders to deliver technology modernisation and IT/OT convergence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT/OT transformation programmes across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Drive initiatives covering OT assessments, technology modernisation, industrial data foundations and IT/OT convergence.
- Manage large-scale transformation programmes spanning industrial automation, digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 environments.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, OT, IT, Cybersecurity and business leadership.
- Own programme scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, governance and delivery milestones throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide clear and effective executive-level reporting and communications, ensuring senior stakeholders remain informed of programme progress, risks and key decisions.
- Facilitate workshops, site assessments, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to support current-state assessments and future-state transformation strategies.
- Work closely with enterprise, IT/OT and solution architects and technical domain experts to define IT/OT integration roadmaps, reference architectures, technology standards and governance frameworks.
- Drive alignment between business objectives, manufacturing operations and technology transformation initiatives.
- Ensure successful delivery of transformation roadmaps, managing dependencies and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value.
- Support organisational change management and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption of new technologies, processes and operating models.
- Drive business value realisation through structured programme management, effective governance and strong delivery discipline.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 12+ years' experience managing large-scale IT/OT, industrial automation, digital manufacturing or Industry 4.0 transformation programmes.
- Strong experience within manufacturing environments, ideally involving multiple sites or complex global operations.
- Proven track record of delivering IT/OT transformation and manufacturing systems integration programmes.
- Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence, industrial technology modernisation and digital manufacturing.
- Demonstrable experience managing large, complex programmes, including scope, budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder and governance management skills, with experience engaging senior executives and business leadership.
- Experience working across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, OT, IT and Cybersecurity functions.
- Experience leading workshops, site assessments, discovery activities and stakeholder interviews.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and technical specialists to develop IT/OT integration roadmaps, reference architectures, technology standards and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of programme governance, transformation delivery and organisational change management.
- Proven ability to translate complex technology initiatives into business outcomes and measurable value.
