Summary: The role of Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials functional consultant at SSE involves leading the Finance components of a project to establish a new Operating Unit. The consultant will be responsible for application configuration, integration testing, and providing expertise in financial processes. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the company's transition towards net-zero targets through innovative technology. The consultant will also guide colleagues in implementing various financial functionalities within the Oracle eBusiness Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Finance components for the creation of a new Operating Unit within the business.
- Amend and test application configuration setups and integrations for the new Operating Unit.
- Support user acceptance testing and transition to live operation.
- Act as the core Financials subject matter expert, providing guidance on Procure-to-Pay, Logistics, Project Accounting, and Accounts Receivable functionalities.
Key Skills:
- Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12 Financials functional consultant experience.
- Qualified accountant background.
- Implementation experience of Oracle EBS finance modules: GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, AGIS, and eBusiness Tax.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Project Accounting.
- Experience integrating third-party packages and bespoke applications with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
