Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial batch processing and monitoring scheduled jobs.
- Support secure file transfers between internal systems and external partners.
- Participate in infrastructure administration, including user account management, hardware setup, and software deployment.
- Help maintain and monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.
- Contribute to the implementation and documentation of process controls and IT procedures.
- Respond to basic IT support requests and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and changes in systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT services meet business needs.
Key Skills:
- A keen interest in IT and technology, ideally with some exposure to networking, systems, or programming.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and Computer Science.
- An interest and/or exposure to Linux Operating Systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of data security and confidentiality principles (desirable).
