IT Network Engineer (CCIE/ E-trading) - London / Hybrid working - Up to £668 per day (inside IR35)

Summary: The IT Network Engineer role at Hawksworth involves working with a global Investment Banking client in London, focusing on enhancing latency electronic trading networking. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain stable network environments for electronic trading.
• Collaborate with developers and application support to understand application interactions with infrastructure.
• Optimize functionality, performance, and security of London and Trading networks.
• Implement designs into production environments under Change Control.
• Capture business requirements and work with technical teams to identify balanced solutions.

Key Skills:

• CCIE qualification preferred or equivalent expertise.
• Experience in highly available latency-sensitive network environments.
• Knowledge of Arista architectures and operating systems.
• Core routing protocols knowledge (OSPF, BGP) and IP transmission modes (Unicast, Multicast).
• Low-level log and packet analysis experience.
• Desirable knowledge of scripting and network automation.
