Summary: Excellent opportunity for an IT Manager/Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the infrastructure team at a growing bank in London. The role involves taking ownership of the bank's infrastructure and collaborating closely with the CTO during a transformative phase. Key responsibilities include managing both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring cybersecurity, and providing technical support for business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT management and infrastructure engineering within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration, management, monitoring, security, troubleshooting and fault resolution of hybrid, on-premise and cloud hosting environments
- Management of LAN, perimeter, WAN, and hosted network infrastructure
- Management of Azure and Microsoft 365 tenant
- On-premise and Azure Active Directory and Domain Services
- Monitoring of cybersecurity defences
- Manage enterprise Active Directory and Entra ID hybrid identity platform
- Technical support for business change initiatives
- Line management of first and second line support
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as an IT Manager/Senior Infrastructure Engineer (or equivalent)
- Experience managing on-premise and cloud services and infrastructure, including network, Firewall, virtualised hosting architecture, cloud services and VMWare HCI
- Management of endpoint and cloud security services
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of Microsoft server and end user applications
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and administration
- Line management and team leadership experience
- Experience of configuring and managing Microsoft Azure
- Strong working knowledge of Intune
- Exposure to working within a regulated or Financial Services organisation
