Summary: The role of IT Infrastructure Security & Vulnerability Management Engineer involves leading and enhancing the vulnerability management practice for an Investment Banking client in London. The engineer will oversee the entire vulnerability management life cycle, focusing on identifying, prioritizing, remediating, and reporting security risks. This position is part of a global team that supports front office electronic trading systems and requires a strategic and hands-on leadership approach. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week, and is classified as inside IR35 for an initial six-month term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire vulnerability management life cycle, including identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting of security risks.
• Lead and enhance the vulnerability management practice within a global IT Infrastructure Platforms team.
• Apply risk-based prioritization frameworks to guide remediation efforts in complex enterprise environments.
• Manage and run vulnerability management processes in large-scale, multinational environments.
• Conduct security assessments and apply technical security vulnerability remediation practices.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in managing vulnerability management processes.
• In-depth knowledge of CVSS, CVE, and vulnerability scoring systems.
• Strong experience in security assessments within complex enterprise environments.
• Background in security risk oversight and vulnerability remediation practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools, particularly Tenable and Flexera.
• Familiarity with RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows, including WSUS and GPO management.
