IT | HCM Cloud - Functional Lead

Summary: The HCM Cloud - Functional Lead role at SSE involves supporting the Oracle Fusion HCM Project by collaborating with various stakeholders and managing reporting and data migration requirements. The position requires a strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM and experience in full lifecycle implementations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's efforts towards achieving net-zero targets through innovative IT solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the successful delivery of the Oracle Fusion HCM Project through liaison with SI Partners, OCS, Business SMEs, and IT colleagues during build, test, and cutover phases.
• Take ownership of gathering, specifying, and functionally delivering reporting and data migration requirements.
• Provide gap analyses of as-is and to-be reporting for HCM and address these gaps.
• Support data cleansing, preparation, mapping, and reconciliation for data migration from non-EBS systems.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies of the HCM Reporting and Data Migration Workstreams and manage them as required.
• Produce project documentation, including specs, strategies, project plans, and RAID items.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain a strong customer/client focus and manage expectations appropriately.
• Interact with SSE staff at all levels and understand business imperatives.

Key Skills:

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and preferably Time & Labour and LMS.
• Experience moving from eBusiness Suite to Oracle Cloud.
• Full lifecycle experience of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations from design to deployment.
• Experience in Data Migration from EBS and other systems to HCM Cloud, including writing functional specs for DM routines.
• Experience in writing functional specs and testing Fusion HCM Reports, including OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher reports.
• Ability to support the build of custom formulas, reports, and dashboards within OTBI.
• Project experience, preferably with larger companies (e.g., FTSE 100).
• Exposure to infrastructure and multi-platform environments, preferably in the energy or utility sector.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills at various levels.
