Summary: The IT Hardware Buyer EMEA will support hardware procurement for a global IT company in the UK, focusing on improving efficiency and monitoring delivery progress across the EMEA region. This role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring timely delivery of hardware purchases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement operations and experience in a multinational environment. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred, along with proven data analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for the company hardware purchase for EMEA regions.
- Complete supplier sourcing independently, respond to purchase requirements and release orders quickly.
- Manage supplier daily deliverables, conduct effective request management mechanisms, and communicate with suppliers regularly to ensure on-time delivery of requirements.
- Implement and optimize procurement processes to drive business with higher efficiency and lower cost.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years or above experience in procurement operation/planning.
- Master of end-to-end procurement activities, purchase to pay, and manage daily activities.
- Good understanding of procurement systems and tools.
- Ability to work under stress and accept work across time zones.
- Bilingual speaker, fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in IT procurement within a multinational organization.
- In-depth knowledge of importing/exporting regulations and best practices in the EMEA region.
- Great business acumen and logic to organize variance business needs and requests.
- Proven data analysis skills and managed contract organization.
