IT Environment & Release Manager

Summary: The IT Environment & Release Manager role involves strategic planning, scheduling, and execution of software deployments and releases within an organization based in Newcastle. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with development, testing, and business readiness milestones.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure readiness for deployment.
• Define and enforce environment refresh strategies, data masking, and rollback procedures.
• Maintain a centralised release calendar and environment usage matrix.
• Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Develop and provide regular updates and reports on deployment progress and outcomes.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on deployment best practices and tools.
