Position: Part Remote / Part Onsite (Tier 1 UK Telecommunication company) 5 Days per Week + occasional out of hours working

TXO require the services of an experienced IT professional, who can assist during the mobilisation and early delivery phases of a new Telecom Managed Service for a major UK provider. Reporting to the Service Transition Manager & Group Head of IT, this will be a pivotal role in ensuring all relevant software, hardware and security infrastructure is in place in readiness for Service Go-Live. Responsible for multiple aspects of IT provision including mobilisation of an NMC environment, client interconnects, spares asset tracking software, engineer scheduling and service management software platforms. Your skills and experience will be key in ensuring a solid platform for the transition of Service from an existing incumbent, into TXO whilst minimising disruption to this vital service infrastructure.

Coordinate mobilisation and customisation of existing delivery platforms to accommodate the new requirements of the Managed Service Design and own the connectivity from the new client platforms into an NMC/NOC environment. (Remotely and on site) Interface between the Service Transition Team, Client and Corporate IT, in order to ensure systems and infrastructure meet desired functionality Work with the TXO IT team to ensure all technologies and connectivity align with the TXO standards Provide IT support post Service launch – enabling a period of hyper care to on-site teams, and corporate IT stakeholders Create a clear set of documentation for acceptance by Corporate IT, to hand over BAU support for the longer term

Requirements: Able to engage with all levels of client and internal organisation, turning complex technical information into simple to understand updates Self-starting problem solver – able to take a conceptual outcome and make it a reality Confident & Articulate Experienced in deployment of Field Operations (scheduling), ITSM, asset tracking and NMC environments (e.g. Helix, Sage X3 or alternatives) Adaptable, and able to flex approach to a fast-paced environment Able to travel at short notice and spend time on site to support connectivity of hardware Willing to undertake some work out of hours for the hyper-care period
