Summary: This role is for an IT Data Administrator who will support the operational efficiency of clinical systems and data processes in a primary care setting. The position involves ensuring teams have the necessary access and tools to provide effective care while maintaining data quality and compliance. The administrator will also provide first-line IT support and assist with the implementation of new digital tools. This is a part-time contract role requiring strong IT literacy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run clinical system searches and produce reports for audits, QOF, CQRS and service monitoring.
- Prepare and submit NHS claims, including QOF, immunisations and Public Health returns.
- Provide first-line IT support for staff, troubleshooting PCs, printers and telephony issues.
- Manage user access and onboarding across clinical and administrative systems.
- Maintain data quality, accurate coding and compliance with GDPR and information governance.
- Assist with implementing new digital tools, system upgrades and workflow improvements.
Key Skills:
- Strong IT literacy and experience handling data or producing reports.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Awareness of confidentiality and GDPR.
- Clear communicator and supportive team player.
