Summary: The IT D365 Project Manager will oversee the implementation and management of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations ERP applications, focusing on critical business requirements for manufacturing and integrations with other systems. This contract role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including business SMEs and external resources, to ensure successful project delivery. The position is hybrid and offers a competitive daily rate, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in D365 F&O and project management within IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of manufacturing requirements in Dynamics 365 and integrations with PLM and MES.
- Review and prioritize the business requests backlog with business SMEs and external providers.
- Coordinate business testing and manage changes through to production implementation.
- Formulate an environment strategy with IT ERP specialists and Applications Manager.
- Maintain system license counts in line with business expansion.
- Scope, plan, and implement continuous improvements and additional features with stakeholders.
- Size and implement future support requirements for global operations.
- Manage the D365 project budget and lead relevant meetings, including progress reports and RAID logs.
- Promote the adoption of best practice processes within the business.
Key Skills:
- Experience in implementing and growing D365 F&O.
- Experience managing and implementing Power Platform solutions.
- Knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, vendor management, and production control.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and SQL.
- Agile Foundation/Practitioner certification.
- Demonstrable stakeholder engagement experience.
- Team player with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience in ITIL aligned IT teams.
- Friendly and approachable disposition.
