Summary: The IT Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer role is focused on supporting a financial services organization in Surrey by bridging business objectives with technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define and document clear, actionable business requirements.
  • Identify and assess gaps for centrally run projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Proactively recommend small-scale improvements and enhancements that deliver tangible value.
  • Create detailed project notes and JIRA support tickets.
  • Collaborate closely with Core teams to contribute to effective solution design.
  • Prepare and facilitate committee meetings, ensuring structured communication and decision-making.
  • Help define UAT prerequisites and ensure system alignment for testing phases.
  • Assist in the creation of robust test plans and scenarios.
  • Support UAT execution, tracking progress, identifying issues, and coordinating fixes.
  • Report UAT signoffs and ensure a smooth transition to production.
  • Support sanity checks and production query analysis during deployment.
  • Provide local post go-live Hypercare to ensure system stability and business continuity.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst within Retail Banking, Asset Finance or Leasing industries.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and business process mapping.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and documentation of business and functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting UAT and working closely with both technical and business teams.
  • Knowledge or experience using Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
