Summary: The role of IT Business Analyst involves supporting a major UK IT Operations centralisation programme for a fast-growing global property management company. The position requires engagement in critical project phases such as discovery, transition, and change management, along with contributions to business case development and process standardisation. The successful candidate will work within hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments and collaborate with various stakeholders. This is a contract position with an immediate start date available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end delivery of the centralisation programme, from initial discovery through to transition and change.
- Conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and contribute to process standardisation across multiple business units.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support change management and communications planning.
- Assist in drafting business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Work within hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support ITSM tool alignment and migrations (e.g. Freshservice).
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in large-scale IT transformation or centralisation programmes, ideally across multiple operating companies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in process discovery and mapping.
- Familiarity with ITSM tooling and its role in service transitions.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Confident in engaging with stakeholders and supporting structured change management activities.
- Background in business case development and evaluating return on investment.
