Summary: The role of IT Business Analyst at a leading real estate firm in London involves bridging business needs with technology solutions, focusing on optimizing operations through ERP, CRM, and finance platforms. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements, as well as support the integration of new systems. This is a day rate contract that requires in-office presence three days a week. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements across property management, sales, lettings, and finance.
- Conduct end-to-end process mapping to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with technology vendors and internal teams to implement and optimise ERP, CRM, and financial systems.
- Support the integration of new platforms with existing systems, ensuring data integrity and process alignment.
- Perform gap analyses and impact assessments to inform business decisions.
- Define and track KPIs to measure system effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
- Develop user documentation, training materials, and deliver training sessions to end-users.
- Serve as a point of contact between business units and IT for troubleshooting, system upgrades, and enhancements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a real estate firm.
- Strong understanding of real estate business processes including property sales, lettings, asset management, and finance.
- Significant experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and financial/accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and producing functional specifications.
