Summary: The IT Automation Engineer role involves engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop automation capabilities. The position requires collaboration with global teams to establish standards, application development using Microsoft Power Platform, and process improvement initiatives. The engineer will also manage tasks on Azure DevOps and participate in an agile team environment. This is a contract position based in Warrington for an initial duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to discuss and understand business and functional requirements.
- Prioritize tasks and projects based on business needs and urgency.
- Collaborate with global teams to establish and maintain a global standard and framework.
- Develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Identify and recommend areas for improvement in IT and business processes/workflows.
- Work with all levels of the business, including corporate, manufacturing, and retail environments.
- Maintain and update a list of tasks and projects on the Azure DevOps board.
- Actively participate in an agile team within the Infrastructure team.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of IT automation and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse business environments.
- Ability to travel to Factory in Cumbria and offices across EU.
