Summary: The IT Architecture Governance Manager at Phoenix Group is responsible for ensuring that the IT Architecture estate is governed according to the IT Policy and Control Framework. This role involves implementing robust governance processes for both existing and new IT services, focusing on compliance with business and regulatory requirements. The position is part of the Business & Enterprise Architecture team and offers flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the Phoenix Group Technology Architectural Governance Framework.
- Operating and continuously improving IT Architecture Governance in line with IT Policy and IT Control Framework.
- Facilitating the review and approval of technical deliverables including IT Strategy, IT Roadmaps, and Solutions.
- Ensuring IT Architecture Governance is robust with clear traceability on decisions and approvals.
- Providing a structured Exception Process to monitor and resolve long-standing exceptions.
- Managing the IT Architecture Risk and Control framework including Action Plans and quarterly certification.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, COBIT).
- Proven experience in leading the implementation of IT Governance Frameworks.
- Evidence of driving continuous improvement in technical deliverables.
- Comprehensive understanding of Security and Data handling principles.
- Knowledge of Financial Services and associated Regulator led controls.
