Summary: The IT and Cybersecurity Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that cater to various skill levels in IT and Cybersecurity. This role involves creating engaging training materials, conducting workshops, and staying updated on industry developments to enhance training content. The trainer will also assess the effectiveness of training and collaborate with stakeholders to meet specific training needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive IT and Cybersecurity training programs for diverse audiences.
- Translate complex IT and Cybersecurity standards into clear and engaging training materials.
- Conduct interactive workshops and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
- Stay updated on the latest IT and Cybersecurity developments and integrate them into training content.
- Provide expert guidance and support to trainees, addressing their questions and clarifying concepts.
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
Key Skills:
- Must be a UK resident with a valid work permit.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in applying and interpreting IT and Cybersecurity concepts.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a training or instructional role.
- Relevant certifications in information storage and management and Azure Security is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of current IT and Cybersecurity standards and practical application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Able to perform well in high-pressure situations and adapt to diverse learning styles.
