Summary: The iOS Mobile Engineer role at JP Morgan in Glasgow involves developing mobile applications using Swift, Swift UI, and Objective C within a highly regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile applications for JP Morgan using Swift, Swift UI, and Objective C.
  • Optimize applications for various mobile screen sizes, including iPad and iPhone.
  • Collaborate with UX designers on rapid prototypes to implement superior user experiences.
  • Promote Agile practices including Scrum, Lean, BDD, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Research new technologies and provide technical guidance across the organization.
  • Support SRE practices to enhance user experience and system performance.

Key Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • Proficient in iOS development frameworks including Swift and Objective C.
  • Strong understanding of iOS design patterns (MVVMC, MVP, MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
  • Experience with native features like Biometrics, Camera, and Push Notifications.
  • Knowledge of mobile app encryption and data protection.
  • Experience in API integration and using XCode for development.
  • Ability to build responsive apps for various iOS device sizes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline for app releases.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
