Summary: We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer with expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine to join a dynamic engineering team focused on developing secure mobile applications for the financial sector. The role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of iOS apps while ensuring adherence to clean architecture and security standards. The position is based onsite in Canary Wharf, requiring a commitment of five days a week. The contract offers a competitive daily rate of up to £350 outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine
- Design intuitive user interfaces with modern SwiftUI components
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage advanced networking logic
- Implement iOS security best practices and support penetration testing
- Lead end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to deployment
- Write and maintain unit and UI tests for robust app performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
- Manage GitLab workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release cycles
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine
- Proven track record in iOS app development and deployment
- Deep understanding of iOS architecture and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Git-based version control
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab workflows
- Strong grasp of iOS security protocols and regulatory compliance
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage full project life cycle
