IOS Developer - Manchester - 2x per week onsite

Duration: 6 months

Location: Manchester

*Urgent 6 Month Contract*

This is a *Manchester, UK* based role with an excellent *immediate start* within a *Global Technology Client* that is working on *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain iOS applications.*

Dynamic and innovative mobile development team as an iOS Developer/Engineer. The Client is a leading company in the travel and hospitality industry, dedicated to creating exceptional user experiences through native mobile applications. The project manager is focused on enhancing the iOS app and ensuring it's continued success in the market.

As an iOS Developer/Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge native mobile application. Your primary responsibilities will include developing new features, as well as providing support and addressing issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain iOS applications.
  • Implement new features and enhancements using Objective-C, Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Utilize essential iOS technologies to optimize app performance and user interface.
  • Work with external libraries and tools such as Fastlane, Cocoapods, Realm, and Firebase.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of A/B or MVT experiments.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure the stability of the iOS app.

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience with native mobile app development on the iOS platform.
  • Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like Fastlane, Cocoapods, Realm, and Firebase.
  • Experience with software craft practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Ability to work effectively with large, existing codebases.
  • Experience with A/B or MVT experimentation is a plus.
