Summary: The role of an iOS Developer (SwiftUI) involves joining a high-performing technology team in London to design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in SwiftUI and native iOS development, focusing on building scalable mobile applications in agile environments. Immediate availability is required for a 6-month contract. The position is classified as inside IR35, with a day rate ranging from £250 to £300.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications
- Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Swift and SwiftUI
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and Back End services
- Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage
- Conduct unit testing and UI testing to ensure application quality
- Support accessibility standards and best practices across applications
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Engineering
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Xcode
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Swift
- SwiftUI (mandatory)
- Objective-C
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into iOS applications
- Strong understanding of performance and memory optimisation using tools such as Instruments
- Experience with threading and performance tuning
- Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing
- Knowledge of accessibility support and best practices within iOS applications
