Summary: The role of iOS Application Mobile Developer involves working on a major project for a public services client, focusing on the development and enhancement of a large-scale mobile application. The position requires collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team and emphasizes the delivery of high-quality features while ensuring compliance with App Store requirements. The developer will also be responsible for optimizing performance and maintaining production features. This is a 6-month initial contract with the possibility of extensions, requiring two days per week onsite in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality features for the iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team across tech, design, product, and infrastructure.
- Optimise performance and ensure compliance with App Store requirements.
- Support and maintain production features.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
- Strong understanding of iOS design principles, MVVM, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps mindset.
- Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager, Push Notifications, HealthKit, App Intents, RESTful API integration, Concurrency and background tasks, and Mobile app analytics.
- Knowledge of compilation processes and experience with FHIR is a plus.
- Strong memory management practices.
