Summary: The ION Specialist role at an international investment bank involves providing Level 3 support for the Fixed Income Trading desk and the ION production platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support for the Front Office Fixed Income Trading desk and ION production platform.
- Support trade flow from market execution through to downstream systems (TOMS & Back Office).
- Work closely with traders, sales, and project teams to deliver robust trading solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across ION components and market connectivity.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience supporting live ION Trading environments (Rates, Credit, Swaps).
- Strong knowledge of ION modules (Platform, MMI, MDATA, PXE, Connectivity, Risk & Ticketing).
- Solid Fixed Income product knowledge (bond pricing, hedging, STP, refdata, MarkitWire).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg TOMS.
- Strong Linux expertise, with Sybase and TCL Scripting advantageous.
