Summary: The Involvement Officer role at Incommunities focuses on enhancing community engagement and participation in local initiatives, particularly in relation to the Bradford 2025 City of Culture projects. The position is fixed-term until January 2026 and involves working closely with customers and community partners to amplify voices and ensure inclusivity in decision-making processes. The officer will manage community funding initiatives and strengthen partnerships to support community resilience and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Champion community engagement by supporting key activities and events.
- Promote inclusivity by ensuring diverse voices are represented in engagement initiatives.
- Facilitate dynamic activities such as tenant and residents' associations and local forums.
- Support building safety initiatives and resident engagement strategies.
- Manage community funding initiatives, including applications and grant distribution.
- Strengthen partnerships with community partners and local agencies.
- Build strong networks to enhance services and opportunities for customers.
- Assist in securing and sustaining community spaces through funding and lease management.
- Track and report on community engagement outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations and best practices in customer involvement.
