Summary: The role of Manager within the Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT) at Schroders involves overseeing the daily operations and service management of the Aladdin investment platform. The position requires managing inquiries and service requests from stakeholders while collaborating with BlackRock Solutions to resolve issues effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient communication and problem-solving. This position is based at the Schroders Campus in Horsham, West Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day service provision and management of the Aladdin platform in partnership with BRS.
- Respond to second-line Aladdin inquiries from users in Investment, Dealing, and Operations globally, with a primary focus on the EMEA region.
- Troubleshoot user inquiries and provide appropriate guidance.
- Manage Aladdin-related requests and escalate critical business issues to BRS for resolution.
- Coordinate the escalation of service incidents impacting vital business processes with internal teams and BRS.
- Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and senior management.
- Follow up on root cause analyses and recommend actions to mitigate future issues.
- Work collaboratively with ISPT, BRS, and Global Technology to reduce incidents and enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure global coverage and efficient issue management in collaboration with team members in EMEA and the US.
- Generate insights to monitor BRS services in alignment with contractual SLAs.
Key Skills:
- Experience in an asset management firm, particularly within a front office environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of investment services platforms.
- Understanding of fund management processes and end-to-end Order/Trade workflows.
- Familiarity with a range of investment products and the dealing lifecycle of Equity, Fixed Income, and OTC derivatives.
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing third-party portfolio, order, and execution management.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, capable of meeting demanding deadlines.
- A service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple critical priorities simultaneously.
