Summary: The Investment Management Project Manager role involves leading cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of large-scale projects. The position requires effective management of resources, risks, and stakeholder relationships while maintaining project communication and reporting. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and have significant project management experience, particularly in technology projects. The role is based in London and classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the business with defining the scope and milestones of projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Manage project resources, risks, and dependencies effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including technology teams and corporate functions.
  • Provide clear direction and resolve conflicts to keep the project on track.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability among team members.
  • Ensure ongoing global project communication via status updates and decision meetings during each phase of the project.
  • Prepare project reporting for senior management regarding the status of project, scope changes, and delivery issues.
  • Assist the project team in developing any required workflows and associated documentation around new processes developed in the project.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Three/Four-year college/university degree in accounting, finance or related business field.
  • 4+ years of project management experience including the management of large-scale projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • PMP Certification (preferred not essential) or other industry qualification.
  • Experience managing a range of technology projects.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in investment management.
  • Experience in Factsheet is a bonus.
  • Deep Experience of Agile methodologies, i.e., Scrum, Kanban.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and industry standard delivery tools: Office (Clarity, Project Management tools like Smartsheet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Azure Dev Ops).
  • CFA, CAIA, CPA, or other financial services designation preferred.
  • Previous experience within a program management or consulting organization.
  • PMP/Prince 2 or Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft AzDo Boards.

Salary (Rate): £100.00/hr
