ABOUT THE ROLE

At the heart of Sing King is delivering both exceptional content and delightful features which requires excellent tooling. As a Full Stack Engineer you will help transform our internal tools and processes, taking them to the next level. The frontend will be a breeze to use, with our internal teams every need taken care of (less is more). You’ll work with our Senior Data Growth Manager to migrate systems and build new ones to improve speed and functionality. You’ll be the architect in developing an API in Python that centralises our key processes and core logic. You’ll build new features that transform media and interface with third-parties. This role would suit an experienced Full Stack Internal Tools Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems whilst delivering an end product that’s easy and intuitive for the end user.

In this role, you will own:

• Designing and building the Central Production API that powers content flow across internal tools and systems
• Refactoring and rebuilding our internal CMS to support faster content ingestion, distribution, and search
• Rebuilding and improving our YouTube asset delivery and metadata systems, so our content can be distributed with speed and accuracy
• Building simple tools for Content and Growth teams to scale performance (e.g. automating manual tasks, improving visibility, fixing reliability issues)
• Working closely with our internal Growth and Content teams to understand friction points and design tools that enable them to move faster
• Delivering measurable impact within a 6-month timeframe — success looks like delivering a robust Central API, unblocking CMS bottlenecks, and improving content throughput across the business

• Can work across teams without hand-holding, but also enjoy being embedded in a cross-functional environment
• Are excited by a fixed-term project with clearly scoped, high-leverage goals, and understand how to operate inside those boundaries
