Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on producing and delivering multi-channel content for Greater Anglia colleagues (magazine, video, photography, digital, print, weekly email newsletter).
  • Project manage the quarterly colleague magazine, including creating content, assigning tasks to Comms Officers, proofing, editing, working with the designer and the print house.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Media PR and Communications Manager on communications plans for large projects.
  • Lead on internal only communications plans including working with agencies to produce internal design assets including posters, leaflets and banners.
  • Produce content for weekly and monthly leadership communications and lead on business priorities including performance, culture, equity, diversity and inclusion, people experience and industrial relations.
  • Develop and execute colleague events including an annual awards ceremony, conference and listening forum.
  • Deliver timely, relevant and clear updates on industry change with leaders.
  • Participate in the delivery of the out of hours press on call service as part of a 24/7 weekly roster shared equally between the team.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join the high-performing Corporate Affairs team at Greater Anglia. The role will cover the existing Internal Communications Manager for 12-months as maternity cover. The successful candidate will have existing experience working in Internal Communications. The role will act as the lead for all internal communications activities, events and channels. As someone with strong writing, project management and multi-tasking skills, the role will involve producing and delivering high quality content (in multi-channel formats), events and initiatives for GA colleagues. The successful candidate will work with the leadership team on communicating with colleagues through a period of industry change.
