Summary: The Internal Audit Coordinator role involves supporting internal audit and quality surveillance activities within a leading aerospace engineering organization. The position requires coordination of audit preparations and execution, as well as collaboration with Quality Audit Managers. This hybrid role is based in Broughton and offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives. The contract is initially set until September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation, coordination, and execution of internal audits across operational and logistics functions.
- Assist Quality Audit Managers with audit programmes, roadmap updates, reporting activities, and maintaining audit records within the MAUD database.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and work closely with internal stakeholders to support surveillance activities.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained across the business.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience within Quality, Audit, or Compliance environments.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to support audit planning and reporting activities.

ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a world-leading aerospace engineering organisation delivering innovative technologies and solutions across global aircraft programmes. Their Quality teams play a vital role in maintaining compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across complex manufacturing and logistics operations. Due to ongoing project demand, they are now looking for an Internal Audit Coordinator to support internal surveillance and audit activities within the Quality department.
THE INTERNAL AUDIT COORDINATOR ROLE:
As an Internal Audit Coordinator, you will support the preparation, coordination, and execution of internal audits across operational and logistics functions. You will assist Quality Audit Managers with audit programmes, roadmap updates, reporting activities, and maintaining audit records within the MAUD database. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and work closely with internal stakeholders to support surveillance activities and ensure quality standards are maintained across the business. This role would suit a candidate within a quality role that understands the audit/ reporting side of the business.
