We have a great opportunity for an intern to support a team of senior bankers with business development and client activity to establish and grow relationships with our global clients The intern will play an important role in supporting with business development, deal origination and execution and coverage of clients in London. The candidate will collaborate with the senior bankers and based in London, as well as more broadly with the global team based. The candidate will work closely with Business Lines including Acquisition and Structured Finance, Structured Equity Capital Markets, Real Assets, Global Markets, Industry Groups as well as M&A boutiques. This role will give the candidate opportunity to get a 360 degrees view of investment banking activity with our biggest client group globally, as well as participate in live transactions and meet our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the team with business development to deepen our knowledge of clients, their investments and their needs, e.g. conducting research and filtering of our clients‘ portfolios and activities, creation of databases to track these
  • Supporting with marketing pitch preparation and research.
  • Assisting with financial modelling and credit analysis for financing transactions.
  • Doing research, gathering and analysing financial data in relation to transactions that the team is positioning or working on
  • Assisting with client coverage memos and client action plans
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements as issued from time to time, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual, Compliance policies and procedures, Security policies & procedures; Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
