Summary: The role of Intern - Credit Risk Analyst involves supporting the Portfolio Manager in credit risk analysis and portfolio management. The intern will assist in assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties and contribute to various aspects of credit risk management. This position is designed to enhance analytical skills and product knowledge within a corporate environment. The intern will work closely with senior analysts and various internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the initial and ongoing assessment of the creditworthiness of counterparties through financial analysis & internal credit scoring.
- Providing support in making recommendations on the size and tenor of credit limits for approval.
- Assisting in performing annual credit reviews for counterparties in the assigned portfolio, especially in the commodities sector.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders in the business, coverage, legal, middle office, and risk.
- Assisting in regular portfolio analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
- Responsible for producing draft credit analyses, portfolio reports, and portfolio data.
Key Skills:
- Degree qualified or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with accounting and/or financial statements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English.

As an intern reporting to a senior analyst at Natixis, you will be involved in supporting various aspects of credit risk management for a diverse portfolio of counterparties trading with us.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
