Summary: The Interim Year-End Accountant role at Grant Thornton involves providing on-demand financial accounting services as part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interim finance services, focusing on year-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Prepare half and full-year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidate group accounts.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international GAAP.
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and manage audits.

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a company with an annual turnover of over £50m, preferably within a listed FTSE business.
• Proficient in financial reporting and accounts preparation.
• Experience in group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting.
