Summary: The role of Technical Project Manager involves leading the optimisation and transformation of a newly implemented HR system into a fully integrated workforce management tool. The position requires a comprehensive system review, development of a roadmap, and effective stakeholder engagement. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring data quality and compliance while providing insights through analytics. This is a contract position lasting 6-9 months with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive system review
- Deliver a system development roadmap and implementation plan
- Define the data architecture, efficient workflows & processes and integrations necessary to deliver organisational requirements
- Design dashboards, reporting tools, and automated workflows
- Build automated, board-level reports for KPIs such as turnover, absence, vacancies, training compliance, and agency usage and compliance with legal requirements
- Act as the interface between stakeholders and system provider
- Use data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for workforce improvement
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and real-time workforce insights
- Monitor benefits realisation and report regularly to the Transformation Board on progress and outcomes and ensuring risks and issues identified and escalated in between as necessary
- Upskill internal teams and create governance for sustainability
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of previous experience with delivering digital transformation (system implementation)
- Strong technical understanding of system architecture, reporting, and automation
- Expertise in dashboards and workforce analytics
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to train, upskill, coach and build capability within teams
- High levels of technical expertise including use of Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power Bi, Tableau)
- Formal Project Management Qualification
