Summary: The Interim Technical Accountant role at Grant Thornton involves providing on-demand financial accounting services as part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interim finance services on a project basis for clients.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to deliver accounting solutions.
• Prepare half and full-year-end accounts and manage audit liaison.
• Handle group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Ensure financial reporting compliance under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international GAAP.
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and manage audits.

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a company with an annual turnover of over £50m, preferably within a listed FTSE business.
• Proficiency in half and full-year-end accounts preparation.
• Experience in audit preparation and liaison.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP).
• Experience in preparing year-end statutory accounts and audits.
