Summary: The Interim Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the recruitment process for a values-driven charity, ensuring an efficient and inclusive hiring experience. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers and HR to enhance the recruitment function while promoting diversity and inclusion. The position is based at Gilwell Park, Chingford, London, with a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for up to 12 months. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic People & Culture team dedicated to improving the candidate experience and employer branding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an efficient and effective end-to-end staff recruitment function for all the Scouts departments
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the team’s key objectives and programmes of work
  • Contribute to the development of the Scouts employer brand and its approach to applicant attraction
  • Keep up to date with trends in the labour market and good practice in recruitment

Key Skills:

  • Ability to provide a customer focused recruitment service and gain respect from managers, staff and applicants
  • Excellent communications skills in writing and in person
  • High level IT skills to make maximum use of our HRIS and ATS to produce analysis and reports
  • Excellent customer focused approach
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience of in house recruitment activity across a broad range of jobs and specialisms

Job Title: Interim Talent Acquisition Manager

Salary: £48,563.95 per annum (Band F level 3, including Market Supplement and Outer London Weighting)

Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (Attendance to Gilwell Park Office once a week with occasional working at other Scouts sites)

Contract Type: Fixed term maternity cover for up to 12 months

Working Hours: 35 hours per week
