Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end upgrade and implementation of a new financial system, managing the transition from Sage 50 to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

- Oversee the entire system migration process, including meticulous data transfer, comprehensive testing phases, and successful rollout across departments.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and ongoing support for key users, fostering confidence and competence in utilising new technologies.
- Evaluate existing financial processes and systems to pinpoint inefficiencies, recommending and developing enhancements that improve reporting accuracy and decision-making capabilities.
- Ensure all accounting processes adhere strictly to industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance throughout system changes.
- Work proactively within the business to optimise current platforms such as Guestline, Epos Now, and S4, integrating them effectively with upgraded systems.
- Support the finance team by maintaining accurate and timely financial records that underpin strategic planning and performance evaluation.
- Design and implement automated reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools to streamline information delivery for management teams.
- Monitor system controls vigilantly to guarantee data integrity across all platforms, swiftly addressing any discrepancies or risks identified.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading financial system implementations or upgrades within medium-to-large organisations, ideally involving Sage or comparable platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with proven ability to leverage complex formulas for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with Power Query or Power BI (or similar business intelligence tools) for designing automated reports that inform strategic decisions.
