Summary: The role of Interim Systems Accountant involves leading the implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central within a growing SME in Central London. The position requires close collaboration with finance and IT teams to ensure successful data migration, project management, and post-implementation support. The contract is for 9 months, with an immediate start, and includes a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will also be responsible for training users and enhancing reporting processes post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Setting out and monitoring progress toward project milestones
  • Identifying risks and opportunities from reviewing finance and contract & project data
  • Business partner with the Management Team, Software developers, outsourced partners and Finance Teams to improve process efficiencies and ensure data issues are resolved quickly
  • Data migration
  • Working closely with the CEO and Finance to design new reports for accounting and finance
  • Liaising with external consultants
  • Complete end to end user acceptance testing
  • Be a system super user to transition knowledge
  • Lead post go-live process improvement
  • Create a process manual

Key Skills:

  • Business Central and accounting experience is essential
  • Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE
  • Finance systems implementation experience in leading the project
  • Ability to partner with finance and IT and work with multiple stakeholders

Detailed Description From Employer:

Finance System Implementation Dynamics 365 Business Central essential SME Central London Hybrid (3 days in the office) 9 month contract £500 per day LTD or £80,000 - £100,000 Immediate start An opportunity to join a SME business that is growing steadily and investing in a systems upgrade across the company, including a Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation. The company have recently selected their outsourced partners and you will take a lead on the implementation. You will also be part of wider IT change. You will working closely with finance to migrate data and manage the project. You will start at the beginning of the project and be there for 'go live' and stay post implementation. The project will be involve mapping the data across, communicating between different stakeholders and managing the timelines. Post implementation you will be training the users, and you will leave the business once there is a new suite of reports in place that are more efficient and value-add. We will be reviewing CVs throughout the process so please apply as soon as you are able to.
