Summary: The role of Interim Syndicate Accountant involves delivering accurate and timely financial information for a leading London insurer's Syndicate and related companies. The position requires preparation and review of regulatory returns, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, and quarterly consolidation reporting. This opportunity allows for significant experience within a fast-growing finance function in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Lloyd's insurance market and relevant accounting qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and/or review of regulatory returns for Lloyd's and entities, including SII
- Responsible for completion of all Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations for review
- Preparation and/or review of quarterly consolidation reporting to Group
- Preparation of entity management information for submission to the group team, supported by analysis
- Preparation and/or review of both monthly and quarterly reconciliations to support the P&L and Balance Sheet for all Lloyd's entities
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) or qualified by experience
- Experience within the Lloyd's insurance market for 3+ years
- Experience in the completion of Lloyd's regulatory returns
