Summary: The Interim Supply Chain Specialist role involves developing a business case for a Supply Chain Project and collaborating with stakeholders in a public sector organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a business case for the Supply Chain Project, successfully collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with the procurement teams to identify stock which could be bulk purchased to aid cost saving
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the department, ensuring stock levels are agreed with budget holders and finding cost effective routes to donate, reuse or dispose of that stock
- Identify and rectify any catalogue management issues where products are not removed or updated
- Support the Director of Procurement in implementing Supplier and Contract Management to improve supply chain delivery and resilience
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience within Supply Chain, across either Public or Private sector organisations
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders
- A track record of change management and leading strategies to modernise a Supply Chain function
