Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group consolidations and prepare high-quality statutory and management accounts
- Drive the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting across entities
- Coordinate year-end audit activity and act as key liaison for external auditors
- Deliver bank covenant reporting, cash flow forecasts, and support working capital analysis
- Manage core accounting activities – prepayments, accruals, payroll oversight, and ledger controls
- Input into budgeting cycles, financial modelling, and variance analysis to inform business planning
- Ensure robust financial governance and support junior finance team members
Key Skills:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Solid experience in group reporting, audit prep, and financial controls within multi-entity environments
- Comfort operating in hands-on, fast-paced finance functions
- Previous experience in real estate, property, or asset-heavy businesses (desirable)
- Strong Excel capability, with the ability to enhance existing models and reports
- A delivery-focused, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder communication skills
