Summary: The Interim Senior Management Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and oversee financial operations for a leading Manufacturing business in Redditch. This role involves preparing financial reports, implementing financial strategies, and supporting the Accounting & Finance department in decision-making. The successful candidate will also coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls while participating in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations within the company.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
- Knowledge of stock BOM routes and materials, month-end audit, and stock take.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department in strategic decision-making.
- Involved in perpetual inventory and understanding of standard costings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Participate in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Key Skills:
- CIMA qualified.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with non-finance disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
