Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support a small team, providing clear direction and oversight
- Oversee management accounting processes
- Produce and review high-quality operational finance reports for internal stakeholders
- Deliver strong technical accounting support, including building and explaining provisions
- Maintain performance and continuity through coaching and mentoring team members
- Partner closely with the Head of, providing updates and escalating risks where appropriate
Key Skills:
- A full CCAB qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical management accounting expertise, including the ability to interpret and explain complex areas such as provisions
- Proven experience managing a team, with the ability to lead independently
- A proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable working in a busy operational environment
- Experience within housing, property services, or a closely aligned sector
- The ability to start quickly and deliver impact in a short-term assignment
