Summary: The role of Interim Senior HR Business Partner involves a dynamic split-location arrangement, primarily between the Channel Islands and various locations across the South and Midlands of the UK. This position requires a commercially focused HR leader with a strong background in retail or hospitality, tasked with leading transformational change projects and aligning the people strategy with business needs. The successful candidate will oversee a small team while managing employee relations and driving engagement across a multi-site environment. This role combines strategic impact with hands-on leadership in a unique and adventurous setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead transformational change projects in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Design and deliver organisational change initiatives to align the people strategy with business needs.
  • Oversee restructures, manage organisational redesigns, and support cultural change initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including consultations and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and oversee a small team of HR Managers.
  • Develop and implement a robust long-term people strategy and improve workforce capability.
  • Support line managers in improving employee performance and managing organisational change.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on best practices in people management.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in luxury hotels, hospitality, high-end restaurants, leisure, or retail.
  • Detailed knowledge of HR, management, and employee relations issues in complex organisations.
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate risk in employee relations based on employment legislation.
  • Experience in conducting investigations and supporting managers during formal procedures.
  • Skilled in coaching and advising line managers to improve people management standards.
  • Strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach to HR challenges.

Salary (Rate): 75000
