Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and coaching line managers on HR policies and procedures
- Managing employee relations cases up to but not including those with employment tribunal risk
- Supporting organisational change projects, including role profiling and consultation
- Supporting performance management and development planning
- Contributing to policy development in line with legislation and best practice
- Working with the HR team on pay review data and analysis
- Promoting continuous improvement and best practice across HR services
Key Skills:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong experience managing ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness)
- Ability to confidently coach and guide managers on HR matters
- Understanding of employment legislation and effective application
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Able to work at pace and juggle multiple priorities
- Experience in unionised environments or using applicant tracking systems is a bonus

Description
In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to managers, advising on a full range of people matters. You'll work across a broad HR portfolio, providing policy guidance, coaching on employee relations, supporting change programmes, and driving performance and development initiatives.

Profile
