Summary: The Interim Senior Finance Manager will lead financial operations for a Social Housing client during a critical period, overseeing finance functions and ensuring compliance and quality reporting as the organization approaches year-end. This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract, requiring a balance of in-office and remote work. The position demands strong financial leadership and expertise in statutory compliance and reporting. The successful candidate will support the Finance Director and manage the finance team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Director to enable the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial information
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate audit activities
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax, and manage treasury operations
- Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to maintain operational excellence
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and implement effective risk management frameworks
Key Skills:
- CCAB-qualified accountant with a proven track record in financial leadership
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, VAT & Statutory compliance
- Excellent communicator with natural mentoring and leadership abilities
