The Role
You’ll work with large, complex datasets to analyse debt portfolios, recovery performance, and customer behaviour, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across:
- Council Tax
- Adult Social Care Debt
- Housing Benefit Overpayments
- Sundry Debt
You’ll produce insightful management information, develop evidence-based recommendations and support targeted interventions that deliver measurable improvements in collection performance.
About You
- Strong analytical experience within local government finance, revenues or debt recovery.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with NEC, Mosaic, Abacus or Oracle Financials is highly desirable.
This role would suit a Senior Finance Analyst, Revenue Analyst, Debt Recovery Analyst, Finance Business Partner or Performance Analyst with experience working in a local authority environment.
