Summary: The Interim Senior Finance Analyst role is pivotal for a leading global media brand, focusing on the preparation of management reports and enhancing financial systems. The position requires collaboration across finance, commercial, and technical teams to support strategic decision-making and improve reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of insightful, board-level management reports, including analysis and commentary that supports strategic decision-making
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning
- Consolidate and validate actuals and forecasts, providing clear narrative on performance trends, risks, and opportunities
- Act as a key point of contact for system-related queries and issue resolution, working closely with outsourced providers and internal teams
- Collaborate with Finance Technology and cross-functional teams to align on system enhancements and integration
- Build strong working relationships across finance, technology, and wider business teams to align on reporting and systems processes
- Deliver ad hoc projects, analysis, and support for wider business initiatives
Key Skills:
- Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) focused on Finance & Accounting / Record to Report processes
- Proven ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including non-finance and non-technical audiences
- Practical knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 and SAP BPC, including configuration, reporting, and user support
