Summary: An exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst on a 6-month contract in St Albans, Hertfordshire, focusing on budget development, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Delivering accurate monthly reporting, including management accounts, variance analysis, and KPIs
- Conducting financial analysis to inform strategic decisions, improve profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Providing financial input for investment appraisals, including modelling, scenario planning, and risk assessment
- Ensuring compliance with financial controls and support audit activities
- Optimising reporting tools and dashboards in partnership with wider teams
- Driving continuous improvement and standardisation in FP&A processes
Key Skills:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications or equivalent
- Proven track record in FP&A, business partnering or management accounting
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial systems, including SAP and Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical mindset
