Summary: The Interim Senior Accountant role is a three-month position based in London, requiring immediate availability. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Finance Manager to facilitate month-end closing and support group finance activities. This position demands a fully qualified accountant with experience in a global organization and strong technical knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of month-end journals, schedules, and variance analysis.
- Support the group with statutory audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and prepare reconciliations at group level.
- Review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor banking activity.
- Provide guidance to local accountants on fixed assets, AP, and AR processes.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a global or complex organisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions.
