Summary: The Interim Senior Accountant role is a three-month position based in London, requiring immediate availability. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Finance Manager to facilitate month-end closing and support group finance activities. This position demands a fully qualified accountant with experience in a global organization and strong technical knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of month-end journals, schedules, and variance analysis.
  • Support the group with statutory audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and prepare reconciliations at group level.
  • Review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor banking activity.
  • Provide guidance to local accountants on fixed assets, AP, and AR processes.

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a global or complex organisation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions.

Salary (Rate): £62.00/hr

Interim Senior Accountant - Immediate start London (Hybrid) – 3 months £400 – £500 p/day (Umbrella) We have partnered with a global business seeking the interim support of a Senior Accountant. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure a smooth month-end close and provide critical support across group finance activities.
